A subcontract between Meridian Build Co (the Company) and Brightwater Mechanical Pty Ltd (the Subcontractor).
Brightwater Mechanical Pty Ltd is engaged as the subcontractor to deliver the mechanical services for a commercial fit-out, under a lump-sum subcontract of AUD 480,000 paid across ten milestones from mobilisation to handover.
A fixed-fee subcontract. Each milestone is a discrete deliverable carrying its own payment, invoiced and payable 30 days from invoice. The subcontractor must commence on the commencement date and reach completion by 18/12/2026, with liquidated damages of AUD 4,500 per day for delay.
Brightwater Mechanical Pty Ltd must commence the performance of the Services on the Commencement Date and complete the Services by the Date for Completion; failure to meet the Date for Completion may result in Liquidated Damages of AUD 4,500 per day.

Completion is due 18/12/2026. Late completion attracts liquidated damages of AUD 4,500 per day. Clause 2 ties the date for completion to the Details rate, and the worked example supplies that rate.
The defects liability period's length is set in the Details, which this document does not state; Nebula holds it open rather than guessing.
